Butterfly dome #8 Gonepteryx rhamn
A curiosity dome with real vintage butterflies and dried flowers/plants
For a video of the item please check my Instagram highlights (butterfly domes)
- wooden base and glass dome
- size 12cm x 16cm
- I collect and dry the moss, sticks and lichen myself
- everything is glued to the bottom but some small parts of moss or flowers could fall off during transport, if you leave nearby I recommend personal pickup for that reason, you can select that option at checkout
- all the butterflies/moths from this collection are from a private collector and were caught between 30-80 years ago. You can find the note with original date at the bottom or at the front of the dome. They all come from Slovenia or surrounding countries and are not endangered species
- I ship the domes in double boxes to prevent any damage to the item, if you do receive a damaged or broken piece please contact me
IMPORTANT if you are from the USA/Canada/Australia/New Zealand or other non EU country: before buying please make sure items with pinned insects are not prohibited to import to your country! I use real moss that I collect myself and that might be a problem for the USFWS or similar organizations!
